Justin Bieber Tops Our List Of The Most Overexposed Celebrities:
There’s no question that Justin Bieber is still a powerhouse. He ranks ninth on our most recent Celebrity 100 list with an estimated $58 million in earnings over the 12 months to last June. He’s the second most popular celebrity on Twitter with 50 million followers and his song “Baby” is a certified diamond single, meaning it has sold more than 10 million copies.
But over the past year, Bieber’s reputation has taken some serious hits from his wild behavior, including a bizarre appearance in a gas mask, and multiple accusations of spitting on people, using drugs and smacking paparazzi. His latest black eye is courtesy of leaked video of a deposition in a lawsuit in which Bieber is accused of telling his bodyguard to attack a photographer. Bieber comes off as disrespectful and arrogant — not exactly the wholesome pop star who millions of little girls fell in love with on YouTube.
Perhaps that’s why Bieber tops our annual Forbes/E-Score list of The Most Overexposed Celebrities. For its E-Score Celebrity service, E-Poll Research ranks more than 6,600 bold-faced names based on 46 attributes through public opinion polling. .
Bieber is an unusual addition to a list that is usually dominated by reality stars. It will come as no surprise that four Kardashians make the list this year. Kim is the highest ranking, coming in second with a 61% overexposed rating, followed by sisters Khourtney (who ranks ninth with 50% of respondents calling her overexposed) and Khloe (10th, 49%).
